I don't really care if you read this or not; I don't even care if you just take a glance and go 'whatever!' Your life, right?

Ugh, we covered the subject of racism in Social Studies today. The thing that pissed me off was that all anyone did was laugh. Yes, isn't using degrading terms to insult such FUN? Where I'm from, travellers are refered to as 'knackers' alot of the time. The term actually means taking the bodies of dead animals. The hell, does anyone CARE?! No, if something goes wrong 'It was the knackers who did it, no question'.

I think I was about halfway towards the ground. Remebering my own brother is the biggest racist I've ever met. It's STUPID, he's Romanian and well, not the nicest person, yet he has no problem talking shit about the 'Japs' or 'Chinkies'.

Stereotyping is no better. Apparently because I'm Spanish I shouldn't be able to speak Irish as well as anyone else, as my 'friend' pointed out. Okay, that wasn't THAT bad but GOD doesn't anyone have a sense of dignity anymore?

Apparently not. When I pointed out the amount of biggests in our school said friend just rolled her eyes.

BUT WHY SHOULD YOU CARE RIGHT

I think I may have lost my faith in humanity. Even when it comes to the subject of the developing world, sure people don't laugh but they still couldn't give a shit. It's MUCH more fun to COMPLAIN about your life right?

AND APPARENTLY GIVING MONEY TO CHARITY IS WASTE OF TIME.

My own mini company doesn't make a lot but a fair amount, donates anything it makes to Trocaire, a charity that helps African families. Only for me to be told today by my BROTHER that not only was it pointless but he'd make sure never to give me anything again if it was just going to be wasted.

Y'know, to be typing this, I consider myself one of the luckiest people in the world. I'm not saying I'm great, far from it, but I just WISH my so called FRIENDS and family would care a little bit more about other people.
